Apple gains US market share in laptops

DisplaySearch: North American laptop market share

If a recession is looming large in the US, Apple may yet escape its shadow. Although the growth rate for Macs sales appears to be slowing, Gartner recently placed the company in sixth place worldwide for PC sales. Now, DisplaySearch adds a report to the mix, this one on notebook sales, and it's largely good news for Apple.
