"Armenian Golgotha" is an eyewitness account of the Armenian Genocide by the priest Grigoris Balakian, grand-uncle of noted author Peter Balakian ("Black Dog of Fate" and "The Burning Tigris: The Armenian Genocide and America's Response") The manuscript, written in 1922 was undiscovered until 1956; this is the first time it is available in English (publication date is March 31).

A high-profile review of "Armenian Golgotha." I have a good feeling about the visibility and sales for this book :)

Did the Armenian genocide have its own Primo Levi?

I have to admit, that was one of the most stupidest articles I've ever read. No offense to Ani, linking to it. But Andrew Bostom can't write, and his closing-off of the comments section because he does "not tolerate genocide denial. The jihad genocide of the Armenians is a tragic historical reality" is offensive.
He mixes up the Holocaust with "jihad." Those two have nothing to do with one another. I've never heard any Armenian refer to the Armenian Holocaust as one perpetrated by Muslims on a Jihad. The Armenian Holocaust was never, ever a jihad.
Andrew Bostom is an idiot.
Andrew Bostom: Boring writer, stupid article, false equation of the Armenian Holocaust with "jihad."

No offense taken, Armen-jan. I thought it was interesting that the book was being marketed to Jewish readers, which should increase sales beyond Armenian readership, but you're right, "jihad" was a stupid and incorrect word to use. More evidence of the Jewish marketing angle from the other review I linked.
And here is a review that appeared yesterday in the Washington Post, by Chris Bohjalian:
