This petition is regarding the May 13, 2009 broadcast of Bill Handel's show on KFI 640AM. During a segment, Bill and his producers suggest selling off Glendale to "get rid of the Armenians." After generating controversy and angry callers, his producer suggest, "What the Turks started, Bill will finish," referring to the Armenian Genocide.
Far from humor, this is a cruel derision of a people who have suffered much throughout history. Mocking the deaths of 1,500,000 innocent Armenians is not only disgusting and wrong, but it also attempts to lessen the impact of the Genocide, and indeed of all other such acts throughout history.
In light of these events, the following is demanded:
1) A public apology by Bill Handel and his producer to the Armenian community outside of the radio program.
2) Community service within the Armenian community.

What's even worse is that Fascists in Europe are now starting to come out of their hideouts. Yesterday saw the ballot counting for Europarliament. British National Party (BNP) a neo-nazi racist party secured 2 seats in EU Parliament, with nearly 1 million individuals of the British electorate voting for them.
